Chaeto and Revive

Not sure where this fits but I bought some chaeto and before using I am concerned about "bugs" that may be in it. Is there a problem if I dip the chaeto in revive before putting in my refugium to clean out any unwanted "bugs"?

let it soak in ro/di water for 5 minutes should do the trick.

What I did because I am super careful about bacteria, is I bought my cheato from a store that I trusted, even though it was pricey.

A season Cheato will be full of Bugs as in copepods which is good for your reef and fish, and you don't want to eradicate them unless you will reseed the chaeto again, my suggestion if you hate Bugs try a UV sterilizer.
