To separate the off topic chitchat and reef related talk I have created a channel specifically for off topic chat.

You can click on the channel located on the left side.
The icon channel looks like this

When there is a new message in this channel, the icon should flash.

Please utilize this channel. Any off topic chat on the main general chatbox will be deleted.

alot of these reefers don't even like giving their email addy's out... i have my aim and msn registered on this website, and in the years that i've been here, i haven't gotten one peep out of a reefer... it's like for them, it's too much effort to click on the yellow monito... LOL...

it's just that we are all adults, and close friends... when i'm with friends, we don't always keep it G-rated... stories and jokes aren't like before... even cartoons are "risqué" on tv, and that's just because the level of tolerance has evolved greatly... but if you don't want to give us a separate channel, it's all good... it's just that everyone, even the mod's sometimes have to watch what they say, or sometimes they don't... that should be a no biggie...

not gonna say where, but there is a reef forum with sponsors and everything and they sensor nothing... it's pretty cool and brutal at the same time, but don't feel like joining since they're not local... but a forum like that would rock... more adult like... it's a small town, and you should see how many members and hits they have...



just sayinnn'... it's cool if you don't want to give us another private room, but i'm just stating my useless opinions... LOL...

I believe the main goal for this site is for reefing related purposes not so much the chat room. The chat room isn't the main focus here and shouldn't be an issue since it's just an added feature to our site that gives open communication to all members on here. The OT channel was specifically created for all the non-reef related chit chat. Same rules you all already are aware of and know about apply to that room too. No big deal guys...just move it to the other channel that's all ;)

That doesn't keep it from loading and running. Besides, I'm not online at 2am when most are chatting in there. I see chat at 2pm saying good morning. lol

people chat all the time... if you say... "sup", someone will respond sooner or later..
