For the price point on the slave, I may buy one for a 50 gal. tank. I have 3 new kessils, which are great but $100 more each. How deep will this go and still have good par value for coral?

I would try on of these over the kessil, but they were just released why you won't get much feedback on them.

You will find those will say the cool whites were a bad choice, but I'm not an expert just have read that. But none that have a problem with the colors have tried the light so not sure how good that feed back will be.

Well since Lurking is the only person the have them maybe ill give them a try over my 40 breeder. The master with the slave
