Chiller not chilling the water

Hi guys..do you know anyone out that service chiller? I bought a chiller from a member on here and it seems to turn on but doesn't really chill the water. Thinking it might needs some freon. LMK

Can you hear the compressor turn on? I had the same problem with mine I have a bad start capacitor so the compressor doesn't turn on.

You can always call around to different refrigeration companies to try and fix it.

Yup...I test it using a 5gallon bucket and it doesn't even bring down 1 deg. It turns on and fan does spin.

Did you calibrate it ?

i called jbj, they charge 40 just to look at it. and then whatever is wrong with it they jsut add it on top of that.. turn around time is 3days. i might just do that . its such a drive tho.. thats the only downside.
