okay, so the clam in my 30 gallon LPS tank just started spawning away like a little Peter North. The tailspot blenny is happy as a clam though, it's been gorging on the volcanic spurts of love. Hahaha!

cool, so let me ask you this; is it a good thing? or is it like anemones splitting, it's a case of it trying to survive with more numbers? and do the little buggers ever survive? they start off as free swimmers don't they? the few that the tailspot didn't eat probably got stuck in the filter or sucked through the skimmer.

Is there something that seeds the clams, like some kind of floating sperm. Or do they reproduce asexually? Careful with that tank Vonfuct, would hate to see you loose all your LPS due to a birthing clam....
