Hello,

I noticed this morning my clownfish lost a lot of color to the point he looks transparent. I fed him this morning and he ate a little bit. Check my levels and everything is good. But I did notice him breathing heavy. Has anybody had this issue? I bought two clown fish 2 weeks back and I've lost one due to ich. Could this be Brooklynella?

Ya they'll get real slimey looking, then sort of like skin is peeling like when u get a bad burn. They won't last long. I lost both my clowns just before I left on vacation in my nano.

Either treat them with copper in a qt or they will be gone in no time. Sorry to hear I feel your pain.

Bean machine,

It sucks losing fish. I already lost a angel, clown, and fire goby. Probably due to my lack of experience. Should of QT from the get go.

Dammit, no need for the QT tanks. Thanks anyways those Luis. Didn't get home soon enough to avoid the casualty.
