Bored af waiting for the 55 to finish cycling. In the mean while anticipating the space from the new tank brought in more corals. Don't get why a few zoas look upset but there has been a bit of growth and a few babies so all in all not too bad I guess :)

Falling to sleep listening to that horrible music. Sound like a baby toy that you hang over the crib

Nice Manny!! Any pics of the upgrade build??
Thank you sir! Nothing special other than a 3/4 full 55 gallon tank with half the marine pure media from my nano in it to try and speed up the cycle. I'm not huge on pretty under the hood.... I'm all about the actual display tank so long as it works. Currently this is all I have for the new tank

How come you don't have any water movement when you're cycling the tank?

Looking good. Man it seems like your Rastas are growing like weeds. What's in that plastic cup?
They actually just recently started recovering and growing. Some time ago they grew /multiplied then melted then grew back lol. .. high alk low MG and CA, now that things are more stable I'm starting to see more growth, extension and reproduction. Contemplating messing around with my lights and adding t5's to the leds, we'll see though. And in the cup I have 3 rock nems I'm holding for a buddy of mine.

Precisely why didn't want to do a reef tank lol. I want to do a little diy hybrid t5 led setup now but contemplating because I want a bigger tank now and don't want to work twice lol. My floor space is practically full and I keep seeing crap I want and now I'm starting to see thing grow and multiply

you already have the tank in your living room to convert to a reef tank !!! lol

go to about 300g reef then you would be the go to guy now on the forum to buy corals from, you have access to the wholesaler to buy them cheap and frag them out.

Wholesalers usually only have junk corals. If I ever decide to sell corals though I have a 96x24x12 frag tank ready. For a display I think I'd be cool with like a 120 or so
