Okay so i've been trying to look up the difference between Copepods and Rotifers... Maybe you guys can help. From what i've found... Copepods are small crustaceans that feed on phytoplankton... Rotifers are smaller than copepods and also feed on phytoplankton... Are they both zooplankton? Also I read somewhere that Copepods will feed on Rotifers also, is this true? If so.. then you must culture them seperately? Because I see bottles of Rotifers and copepods which makes me wonder...

Copepods are great for mandarins and such...
Rotifers are great for raising fry?

Thanks,
Just trying to get some clarification!

Stick with copepods. Rotifers are cultured for fish fry. Copepods can thrive in your tank without having to provide an external source of food. Don't buy the tiggerpods either. They're great for feeding but there are a lot of people that say they don't propagate in the tank well.
