So I just ordered 15lb of base dry rock, 10lb of dry shelf rock, and 10lb of live cured rock for my new build. I'm going to cure the live rock for about 2 weeks to get rid of all the die off from the transport. Can I cure the dry rocks with this together or would it be better to do them separately? I just don't want the die off to contaminate the dry rocks.

Are you referring to dry rock or dry dead rocks? If its dry rock you wouldnt really need to cure it, but if its dead rock you would need to cure it for more then 2wk. LR should arrive live or it wouldnt be sold as live… ..on my setup, I started my build 2 month in advance with curing my rocks. 1st month was straight ride, then 2nd month was with saltmix and a couple of OR to seed. It turned out pretty good until I got some plugs and now I have a couple annoying aptasia…

live rock is not shipped in water it is shipped dry in damp paper some come in on boats and some by planes u need to cure live rock when it comes in from other countries but +1 to Lowballer , I would store in a bin and do w/c on the bin use the water from you d.t. when u do a water change on that when the rock starts to smell like the docks and not rotten eggs you are good to go
