I use one over a tank with close to those dimensions 28Lx18Wx16" deep (AIO) and my LPS (torch, froggies, hammers) are growing like crazy. I have the 24-36" one. I had it over sump which is 24" deep on another tank and they did OK, but definitely better with the shallower depth.

I had one over my 24x24 cube. It was alright and i got growth out of it, but definitely doesnt compare to my razor. And i paid less for the razor. I am planning in useing the old current light on a 20g long qt/frag tank i plan on starting up. Make sure tou dont buy one with the old controller. If you do custom settings it has a glitch that makes the lights come on full blast at midnight. They sent me a new one for free though. By that time i was pissed and already bought the razor cause they dicked me around for awhile on the warranty.
