I was gonna go with this manufacturer then i googled it and read the horrer stories ive personally seen there tanks they look nice but i dont wana risk 120gals of ocean in my living room lol!!! And my custom visio cost 50$ more then the fujimoto so i couldnt go wrong there. Just type them in on google and read sum reviews thats what made me change my mind ;)

I guess you edited your post because I saw in my email you said you're not looking for an aio. Looks like you may have figured it out but I just want to make sure you know that CAD Lights makes gorgeous custom tanks of any size and dimensions and they also have the Artisan II Series that are full turnkey systems with sump, plumbing, return pump, etc. (not aio)

Here is a picture of the sump on one of the 50g Artisan II

(Did somebody actually revive a 4-year old thread? LOL, well the info is valid nonetheless, I guess)

I have hundreds of clients in this industry and a few stand out from time to time...

though I can't vouch for quality (only because I haven't personally owned one myself) but I CAN tell you that you'll be very hard pressed to find a Starfire-glass tank cheaper than this company (usually even cheaper than standard glass tanks from Leemar and the rest)

I'm thinking a phone call might just be worth your effort (seriously):

Also any recommendations as to who can retrofit a room divider wall to hold a reef aquarium and sump, etc beneath? my room divider wall already has a 5' square cutout and a ledge that is 19" wide and about 36" above the floor. I just need someone to build in the cabinets, construct a nice top and reinforce the structure to hold a full aquarium.
HIGHLY reccomend that you plumb your sump elsewhere, such as an adjacent "fish room", garage, closet, under stairs, etc.

Here is a link to a thread I created long ago on RC about my garage system (pictures and all):
http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=579223

Look on page 2 for pictures of the actual penninsula tank that I had at the time.

unfortunately, don't have that kind of room..maybe in the next house and reef.
what should I be concerned about in my current plans?

nice tank by this way. I don't think I'm ready for anything that ambitious or complicated yet.
is it still running?
