Thinking about buying the dc 12000 return pump anyone have it and would u guys recomend it. it will be on a 180 gallon thanks

I have it on my 180..works great so far 8 months and counting no issues BUT I bought a DC6000 for my frag tank and it has a leak from the body :( on install.

its a bit underpowered in my opinion. May work if turn-over is its only job, but look elsewhere if you want to feed chiller and media reactor from the same source.

Mine too had developed a leak from the body. Not an issue when submerged but sprays outside the sump if water level drops enough, thus is a threat I need to address soon.

Buy a "good" pump or buy two shitty ones so you can have a replacement handy for when the shitty one burns out/leaks.

We have two of these running in shop, one on each 180g frag tank. We have had two power supplies go out on us since may. Other than that overall fairly happy.
