i have a good method i learned from my cousin. Use a turkey baster and squirt the anemone's foot. once it retracts use a credit card and slip it under the foot and SLOWLY keep squirting so it keeps retracting and basically keep doing it till you are able to slip the credit card under. DONT RUSH IT and you will get it off. I've found that that's the safest method. again, Don't rush it.

Bens method is good if its on a flat rock. Won't work if its foot is in a hole. If its in a hole aim flow at it to get it moving around, hopefully to a flatter surface. Make sure it doesn't get sucked into a powerhead either if your aiming one from close by

I have had to move one of mine like 8 times! I am now the Nem whisperer :) I use super chilled RO/DI in Julians thing..or u can use a small pipette..spray edge of foot till you can wegde the tip under and keep spraying it...it will detach and then when you have enough clearance ..just literally rub the foot upwards.. away from the rock. Don't force it, but be firm. It will take a few minutes, but it slowly detaches as you keep "Petting" it ( that's what my kid calls it lol). That way I never risk scratching up the foot. Good luck :)

Sounds gentle...will try.

I've lifted the rock out of water and hang the nem upside down and it works lol 3 out of 3 times
It's on a base rock otherwise I totally would.

Try the turkey baster method. It'll take a while, but just keep pushing water at the foot as it peels back. I tried the ice cubes and it either took to long or didn't work at all. But a constant flow from the baster should do it.

I hung the rock it was on upside down over a bucket of water just enough for the tips to touch the water. I left it like that and walked away for 20 minutes and when I came back half of it detached itself trying to get to the water. I just slowly peeled the rest off with my fingers.
