My Apex base unit died and I got a loaner replacement. i wrote a new script for the 1.1 ML BRS doser. Something like this, thought I have since deleted it:

DO NOT USE THIS

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Time 06:00 to 06:04 Then ON
If Time 18:00 to 18:04 Then ON

It was supposed to dose for 4 minutes at 6:00AM and 6:00PM but what it did was come on at 6:00AM and stay on until I noticed it had been on all day

So it ran from 6:00AM to 11:54AM when I noticed it. That’s 716 minutes at 1.1 Ml should be 785 Ml + 20 Ml to prime the hose from a 100Ml bottle

With only 100Ml left in the bottle, I can deduce that my BRS 1.1Ml/min pump actually 1.23Ml/min but that’s besides the point.

Looks like all the fish survived with 24 hr. a day ozone, daily skimmer cleaning, 10 micron filter sock daily cleaned, and daily fresh carbon . The SPS didn’t fare so well. Roughly 50% loss.

oh man so sorry. Glad you caught it when you did and it wasn't a total loss .Code looks right not sure what happened. Only thing I can think of is after you programmed it you set the slider to ON vs auto. I've done this many times. Also just FYI 6:00 to 6:04 is actually 5 mins because apex counts to 6:04:59.
If you have the time try running it again and see if it turns on and off.

One other possibility if you're using the older EB8. Not sure what the current draw is on a BRS doser but I know the EB8 has a few non-relay activated outlets that require a min current to operate reliably. Can't remember if it's affect on off or both.

Luckily, it takes time (days and weeks) for denitrifying bacteria to grow out from NoPox, and you caught it fast...so you should be able to dilute it out with water changes. Probably want to monitor your nitrates and phosphates in the next few days.

BTW, none of the photos you posted showed up.

As far as the code, it looks good to me. I would have programmed it that way too.

Time change or drift might affect this? Hope everything is ok.

I actually love my Versa pump — just tell it to dose 20mls/day starting at 12pm to 2pm and it will figure it out. For my vodka dosing, I’ve also limit the max/day as a safety check.

I hope you'll be able to save more after the water change. Maybe it's a good time to trim some back and do a mini reset to the tank.

With your halides, those SPS will bounce back fast. And you have many friends in the hobby, so gives you opportunity to get some new SPS

I had done something like what Discotu said, I turned the slider on APEX on my alkalinity to ON instead of AUTO, and I went to bed. Next morning, I get alarms that the alk was 13dkh. The only thing that saved me was that I used the DDR container, and it is tiny. And I have a large tank volume. But that gave me a big scare.
