Hi guys, first off. Happy Thanksgiving to all. Now onto my dilemma, I have a spectrapure cspdi 90gpd. I'd like to install their add-on kit, but unsure how to do it. According to an email I received from them, they said. "Get our MaxCap D1 single-stage add-on with super DI cartridge and put a MaxCap DI in front of your Silica Buster." When they say in front, do I need to take my existing DI cartridge off of my unit and install the add-on? Or can I just run tubing? What's the difference between a super DI and a Silica Buster? If anyone has done this before, can you provide pics, so I can get a clearer understanding? Thanks everyone.

I have this after my ro filter. U can refill the cartridges with Di resin. They sell it on the same website.

Hot Dogs are GOOD!
Yeah I've been reading on their website. Saw that they're in SC as well, big plus. Mad props Nick. Thanks again bro.

They mean to replace the existing di cartridge with the max cap cartridge and the run a line from the outlet of the maxcap to the add on housing which will have the silicabuster in it.
The maxcap is a standard high capacity di cartridge and the silicabuster removes any silicates in the water.
Recommended change intervals are 1 silicabuster every 4 maxcaps as long as the water coming out of the maxcap is kept below 1ppm tds.
This is what I'm using on my 180gpd mpdi spectrapure system.
Ill add a pic in a bit

Here's pics of my system...

The first cart. Is the sediment filter
The second is carbon block than water goes to the membranes. From their it goes to the 3 cart. Whuch is the maxcap di, and than to the addon on the far right whuch is the silicabuster.

This is a pic of the maxcap in the forground and than the silicabuster

This is the plumbing. Its realy simple.
The outlet of the current housing goes to the inlet of the addon. The outlet of the addon goes to your holding barrel or bucket for your topoff/mix water

Hope this helps
