i wanted to know if i can keep two or even three types of chromis in my 60 gallon tank. i have a lot of hiding places and space for them to swim. Right now i have 3 blue/green chromic and would like to add black bar chromis but I don't know if they are aggressive and then i want to add some blue reef chromis. Are back and white chromis peaceful because i had read they more of a damsel than a chromis? Thanks for all the help guys.

All chromis are technically damsels. You could try it, but even chromis have a way of picking each other off one at a time. As an example, I started with 10 green chromis in my 240 with LOTS of rock, and am now down to 3..
Heavy feeding schedule helps to thin some of the aggression, but that has a tendency to throw your water quality out whack. If you are willing and able to keep up with the maintenance due to heavy feeding, then maybe..
Not to say it can't be done, but generally the odds are against you keeping several types of chromis/damsels for the long haul without aggression.

I think green chromis are the only non aggressive damsels, some of those really nice colored damsels are little bastards, and getting one out once he's wreaking havoc in ur tank.... Good luck!!

When I first started in my 40gallon I had two yellow tail damsels and it took me a long time to get them out. I had them to cycle my tank. I can imagine the trouble with bigger tanks.
