Dips/Preventions

Just trying to get everyone’s take on what your process is when you pick up new frags. Dips (brand), acclimation, etc…. I’m trying to stick to a proven method to avoid introducing anything bad to the display. Thanks

I use ReVive on most frags, sometimes just toss things straight in. Dips are great for various parasites, but wont kill algae. Like Jose said, quarantine is the way to go in that regard. For some(most?) corals, you can usually spritz them down with hydrogen peroxide which can/will kill off algae on the base, but isnt 100% and can stress some more sensitive corals
