diy 2 part, which do you use?

Who makes their own two part ? and which one?
Well my tank crashed from a little neglect and the past heat wave. Lost tons of sps but luckly saved a bunch thanks to my buddy brandon. Since I'm kinda "starting" over I want to try a different two part method other than just esv and brs. I was contemplating a break down but just can bear to quit ( im bipolar reefer). I have already made Randy two part alk solution and think that I might just get some Dowflakes and do that, but I just heard about the balling method, which looks like a nice method also! any advise on your method of diy two part is appreciated. What do you prefer and have you had any adverse affects from any diy two part solutions? Going to try to bring back my saved sps once system is stable with new two part method and the heat waves are done. Thanks in advance

It's the Red Sea calcium, alk, mag, then the other 4 are colors a, b, c, and d. Check out the vids on the Red Sea website.

Ill check it out, but I'm looking for DIY advise. from what i've read its alot cheaper, at this point I'm all ears for less expensive. just need to keep what i have alive, alive.

Just switched to the red sea a,b,c and using reef energy a,b

I use baking soda from Walmart 52 cents per pound box. Lay it out on a baking tray and heat for 350 for 1 hour. Put it I a bucket with power head and one gallon ro water over night put it in your dosing container done..

For calcium I use hth calcium plus from Walmart outdoor section it's 6 bucks use two cups with one Gallon of ro.. Watch out it gets hot

It's not. Literally takes me about 10 minutes of actual work.
