Hey guys what would you suggest in DIY fans?
I'm thinking about building one with a speed controller and using high quality brushless fans Like Cofan or Mechatronics any inputs would be appreciated thanks!

I am actually Thinking about building two units one for the main tank and the sump and see how that works. But for now ill try and build one for the sump I wanted a speed controller so I can manage the noise if it gets too loud.

Update I ordered some fans and some speed controllers .

Anyways while I wait
For the packages to arrive, How would you mount the fans since these are larger fans I think 2 fans should be sufficient for a 100 gal sump

So do you have a temperature controller or just plug the fan directly to the outlet? I built mine with a 16 buck temp controller from ebay. It works great, but a $24 temp controller is more flexible. My tank is not over 80F. I do have to top off every day though because the water evaporates too fast.

Done ! Its adjustable and so far works great ... I ordered too much fans ill probably try and do an LED build
