DIY leak detection module (super cheap and easy)

I figured that the leak detection is really simple, since it's essentially a circuit that's being closed by liquid.

did a quick search, and it turns out, someone already has a writeup on instructables. even has hookup information for a breakout box.

more surprising was that there wasn't already a post in the DIY section!

anyways, now there is!

you can google DIY breakout box which has a link to "another site" with instructions for one too, which i actually like better than the apex BoB - you don't have to try to jam 6 sets of ground wires into one slot.
