Does my wrasse have a parasite?

He has a small white blemish on his side, looks like he scrapped a rock maybe.. Also sometimes when he's swimming he'll stop using his fins, spread out his dorsal fin, lay sideways and he starts to float to the top.. He's a Mccoskers flasher wrasse, he's in a 55 gallon tank. new tank only 2 months old, parameters are stable.

first picture is him laying on his side, second picture down his back above the last blue line there is the blemish, it's hard to see.

If they are flashing (scrapping) they most likely have something IMO. Feed well and keep a close eye on him.
