Doser & Additives

Looking to try and enhance my 75 gallon reef and considering buying a doser. Does anyone have any recommendations on a good easy to setup doser? I want to start dosing ESV B-Ionic Alk, Cal and Mag. I looked at the Bubble Magus because of the price but heard its a ***** to set up. Also the Vertex looks nice but seems a bit pricey.

Also what other additives should I be dosing to enhance color? I heard K & B Balance Potassium is a good start.

My tank has both SPS and LPS with some soft corals. Appreciate any feedback.

The Profilux ones are supposed to be a snap to setup.

If you have an apex you can get by with some BRS dosers.

Dont have the Apex, but did see the BRS 2 part dosers...I'm going to look into the Profilux

I had a bubble magus and it was easy to set up! You basically have three channels which you program to dose up to 24 times a day. You set the mL and bang that's it.

I'd say the hardest part of using a dosing pump is calibrating the correct amount to dose each day. When everything was happy and with the stability of adding a doser my corals took off like a rocket and I almost had to double the amount. Good luck!

Bubble magus is easy to set up. The interface is pretty intuitive and the price is right. Some of the local supporters/vendors always have specials to include the dosing containers as well

They are really easy to set up! But make sure you always exit out to the clock otherwise it won't dose =]

I have the profilux and itn be set up in a few minutes. they have prime buttons for each pump, ive never had one pop off like other kinds of dosers. good quality and easy to use. you tell it how much to dose and it spreads it out evenly. really simple and takes the math out of it.

Looks like I'm gonna go with the Bubble Magus...thanks for all the feedback. I'll let you know how my tank responds in a few weeks.
