So I just get another mp10 for my 45 gallon. What is the best "mode" and placement you recommend?
I'm currently running short pulse on mine and love it. Is it possible to place them one each side and run short pulse? mine are wire version so I can't make it master/slave right?

You need both to be wireless to run slave and a master. Just set them normally and you should be making waves. I have two on my 75g ones on short pulse and the other is on lagoon, getting good random flow.

I like the waving motion of anemone and torch coral, I have tried other mode with my current mp10 and short pulse makes them wave
with other mode the torch coral would fall on one side.

EcoSmart Nutrient Transport Mode

In this EcoSmart mode, water is circulated in two phases – a wave motion to stir up detritus, and a surging motion to move the detritus into your overflow where it can be skimmed out. This mode promotes maximum health and nutrient export, as well as increased growth for sensitive corals such as SPS.

Adjusting the dial changes the maximum speed achieved at any time during this mode. Slave pumps should be positioned opposite the master and on the back of the tank to take full advantage of the EcoSmart modes. Short pulse is added to this random flow. So now through the day I get 5-6 random flow... If you go to ecotech website it'll give you more detail.
