That counts... I love graphite, I suck at color. Have something of a pencil addiction. I mean, how many pencils does one person really need? Still waiting to reach that limit. :lol:

Haha Yea I'm just getting back into drawing and starting to use colored pencils.. I'm almost finished with a scr logo I'm doing for the reefapalooza.. I know they want it on computer so it'll be just for fun..

You can make okay money with graphite but not nearly as much as color. My pencil drawings (commission, working from a photo) start at $200 for an 11x17. I work slow though so when divided by the number of hours it's pretty sad.

a lot of stuff turns out that way..

i think about how "little" the material cost was for my tank stand, and think about how much I saved, but then if i factor in the number of hours, and if i pay myself the wage i make at work, the tank would have been just as much as if i had Aaron build it.

luckily for me, i actually love building stuff, so it's not a hassle..

I pretty much only sell graphite. I'm still learning colored pencil but can't quite get the hang of layering. I use Prismacolor for practice and Faber Castell Polychromos if I mean it. If you were looking at the one of my dog that was a practice piece in Prismacolor. There are some good books and YouTube tutorials on CP.
