That's in the past. The new firmware is way better and no more connection issue for me.

+1 when apex goes apesh*t you will wish you had the reeflink, I hate having so much plugged in to my apex, had it fail 2 times on me and would rather have my mps and light working while I have to reset my apex....

I also like the control it gives you. You dont have to have to have 2 applications and you can set preferences settings to your apex feed modes. With one click of a button you can switch between day and actinic settings which is awesome. I have three different systems hooked up with apexs that run radions and I have never had an issue.

I agree with big boss - reeflink's latest firmware is pretty stable. Also helps with you have the IT master help hook up your system.

50/50 it seems... I'm also getting an Mp10 quite drive that I hope to sync up with the XR15 and eventually I'll get a second mp10...
I really like apex fusion, but i haven't looked into led/vortech programing with fusion

Got my XR15 today with RMS mount!!!
First off.. This RMS mount t is amazing!!!!!!!

Second... I'm so stoke and excited about this light... I did a quick set up by connecting radio. To my Surface Pro 3 and just selecting a basic profile with my time schedule..

Can anyone post their radion profiles or screenshot so I can get an idea of how you all programming yours.

I go a G3 Pro last week and another one coming soon which I'm planning to replace my ATI LED powermodule with.

For a tank that size get the xr30 if you really want LEDs. I had the xr15w pro over my tank 24x16x16 and the coverage was terrible. Too much shading for my sps. They began to brown at their undersides. I gave up after 9 months and switched to t5. Couldn't be happier!

I've got an XR15 G3, so far I really like it. I could very easily say that Kessil spectrum & shimmer look better, possibly AI by just a hair as well..

The Good
- Powerful
- EcoTech quality
- EcoTech Live is nice
- Doesn't run hot, is silent (RMS Mount)
- Proven reliable / High quality LED light

The Bad
- The Royal Blue is very purple to my eyes, much more than typical
- Disco-Ball effect -- Not nearly as bad as some, but present
- USB on opposite side of power cord -- Makes wiring messy if you want to keep it connected while dialing in
- The Price vs Shadowing factor -- 1 Puck = Shadowing, the XR30 is way nicer, but at the price, an AI 26HD might be better..

i have it over my 50 gallon starphire and it does the trick , my sps love it , its just hard getting that local fish store color in the tank . idk if its the setting or kelvins or what it is but for some reason i can't get the exact color although the color i came up with is really nice
