I got a couple of these lights as part of the system I bought from another reefer. Has anyone had any experience with these used? I plugged them in but it doesn’t turn on, the fan is powered on but no light. Is there anything special I have to do on Ecosmartlive? Does the previous owner have to delete the light setup from their account? Thanks for your help.

They may still have the previous programming saved and that’s they they aren’t turning on.

Do they react with the buttons? When you push the buttons do you hear a clicking sound?

They do not react to the buttons and no sound when pressed.

So with a laptop or pc. You need to go to ecotech Maine.com and download the connection manager program. After you have downloaded the program open it and log in to you esl account. Then then take a usb2.0 to micro usb cable. Plug the usb2.0 in to pc then the micro usb into the side port on the radion. While the radion has power to it. If the radion is functional your pc will notice the new hardware. Then in connection manager I recommend you do a factory reset first. Then updated the firmware. Then you can start programming them.

FYI if the radion is 4 or low gens then most likely those will only run on ecosmartlive, and you will need a reeflink to be able to control them wirelessly. If they a gen5 then there mobius ready. But I can already tell by how much trouble your having they are not gen5s. Lol

Thank you so much. I’m going to try all these methods and see how it goes. Supposedly the previous owner used apex to control it.

Yes if they were linked with an wxm then they need to be factory reset via the ecotech connection manager and ecosmartlive.com.

Did you buy a reeflink? If you don’t have a reeflink then you will need to hard line contact the radions to a pc every time you want to change the programming.
