I could be wrong but I think all mp40 that gen. are wireless.

Yes wireless. Isn't that what the w is for on the front of the controller.

The non wireless versions have the W also. The W lights up bright green on the wireless versions. Can you post a picture of the tag on the back? I might be interested in taking both. Where are you located?
