Anybody have one? I was thinking about adding the 36" royal blues to add that extra pop. I wanna hear some inputs, worth it or not.

I remember liking it when they first came out . I bought two 12" strips when they came out.After a while I realized it did not add to my lighting. It was only for color. Then it burned out quick. I would advise against them

I have 2 48" on my 60" tank, no shimmer/"extra" pop after second pair of 80wT5s come on(1 actinic and 1 Blue+, 1 actinic and 1 AquaBlue, 2 10000k for mid day)...

i have 2 48" (2x blue and magenta combo) on my 48" tank coupled w/ a 6 bulb t5ho fixture. It most certainly does NOT add any shimmer to the tank. However, the magenta does add a nice tint to the overall color of the lighting which i like. When the whites come on, it makes it look a little less white.

I personally like them, but the difference is very subtle.
