dang, my house is 71 miles. Guess I'll keep just driving out there every few months :)

If I were closer though I would def be taking advantage of this! It would definitely lower the price I would end up paying if I went in the shop because no impulse addon buys

A good way we have been having people offset the delivery is by splitting orders, meaning multiple people order and whole order gets dropped off to one persons house but all split the delivery.

We also have had people split the drive and had us meet them at a closer location. Last week we had someone 82 miles away meet us halfway and delivery went from $92 down to $50 based on where she met us.

We are planning to do something along the lines also of if you are paid in advance you can just leave your jugs outside/side of the house/on the porch Etc and not have to be home even. We would drop by, fill up your jugs (or deliver new ones if you want to purchase some) and have them when you get back home.

Can you offer a water trade in? Where I leave a key under the mat and you take very beneficial matured water from my tank and replace it with new water from your containers? It's a win-win!

Lmao no plans to get back into the service game anytime soon. The 3am calls from customers asking "why do all my corals look small and shrunken!??? I woke up and the lights were off so I turned them on at 230a to see what the fish were doing and noticed all the coral are closed and look super unhappy, and no polyp extension"...."sir, coral close at night, and so do I, have a good night and please don't call at this time again"

Lol

I had a guy tell me his pump was making all kinds of noise and there was a bunch of air in the tank at 1145pm Obviously was low on water so I reminded him AGAIN to check the auto top off to make sure it had RODI water (he had a system we installed maybe 30' away in his house so not a hard task). After nearly 15 minutes on the phone I could t convince him to pour a bucket of RODI water into the top off reservoir and he said he would rather wait till I came next week (yes didn't want me to come again till o was scheduled to) to fill it up for him. When I went somehow the pump was still vibrating and I look in his refugium and the light was sitting in the water. I asked him what happened and he said it got knocked in when he was trying to figure how to stop the noise of the pump sucking in air and he didn't want to touch the water in case he got shocked. HE DIDNT REMOVE IT OR UNPLUG ANYTHING FOR FOUR DAYS. no idea how nothing caught on fire and to top it off he removed the gfi adapter I added so he could push the tank back closer to the wall. I have nightmares about that tank still to this day lol
