Got a referral from another member and walked out with $100 in livestock. Super knowledgable and healthy fish/inverts.

They wouldn't sell me a whitecheek that wasn't eating. They said come back in 5days. Awesome. Awesome shop. Small but great.

Yeah I dealt mostly with Charles. Bought a healthy pair of clowns/green bubble tip nem/pencil urchin and cleaner shrimp.

Naaah. Not a great place to buy anything there. Prices are on the high side. Livestocks are not that great. I saw lots of sick fishes in there. Not recommended place.

Better than global aquatics and not a car salesman like mystic reef. What happened to the quarantined lfs that did the hard work for you?

ive been going to global aquatics since I was a kid. There so old school, prices are kinda high but they have a massive selection. It was originally supposed to be a wholesale place. That's why it's right next to the airport. The owner is a nice guy, knows a lot about fish not so much about coral. They have a used section in the back you can find good deals on some stuff. Mystic reef. It's hard to go in there and not laugh. Every time I'm there it's always the same thing. If I ask about something he quotes me some huge price. Then a minute later the price drops, then gets cut in half. He loves to use words like "Tyree" and "LE coral" to make something sound good. They have a great selection of SPS but they need to just put there prices on the side of there tanks. When I go there I tell him to save the sales pitch and just tell me the price.
Rant over (sorry for the derail)

:a11::a11:Sad thing about peeps reporting on a lfs is that you only get one side of the story, theirs! Some who have commented in this string about lfs are not saying what they did to piss off the owner. Offering to give a customer of said lfs free coral that the lfs is trying to sell in front of both the customer and the owner. It's a two sided street for both buyer and seller. If you like a place or have reason to diss a lfs then give all the info.

I don't give anyone free coral. I did give some coral to an LFS today. There's a small store by where I live(gills) and the owner is a really cool guy. I bring him frags from time to time to put in his main display. I'm a big fan of supporting local stores. It's getting very hard to keep a store in the Internet age

Hahahahahaha funny thing is thats not even what i was talking about . I offered the owner a piece for free to sell to the customer. You should probably get your story straight pal! And the fact that he sells fish with brook and has no idea what names are of fish he sells and used to sell live rock from his copper tanks to people with reef tanks! I can keep goin i wasnt trying to put anyone on blast here but you had to open your mouth! I know of at least 6 people that will never go back because of the owner ! One of the couples were gonna kick his @$$ because he sold them a fish that was supposed tank raised and had brooke and wiped the whole tank out! They went back and told him what happend and he didnt even know what brooke was! Then another customer asking about the same fish in the tank that was supposedly tank raised he know told the customer was wild! I will not deal with lying people! Owner talks crap about all his customers behind there back !so dont go trying to flip the script without info!

I agree with everyone.
Owner has a business to run, he used to give discounts but now no more. no exceptions on tax.
but hey its a fish store with coral so I go to look cause its convenient. buyer beware. . Owner is lucky to have Charles working there after Kevin left.
