Both eat everything and anything,

That's a different parrotfish
Do you research :)

All parrotfish eat algae and can easily go for algae on corals and, with the beaks, do much more damage than say a tang nipping algae, but sure, you say I'm wrong I probably am. :) these are the best type of parrot if you have to put it in a reef, many have, but it's still a parrotfish and capable of doing the same as any other. Good articles about them and reef safety on other sites. Glws, didn't mean to derail.

I can't find much info on this type of parrot I have a 225 reef I'd drop him in. Once they are in they don't come out easy. So just wanna do more research on em. Any links?

I have it's just an argument about then being reef safe or not.

Argument?
There are 2 similar scarus species
Princess and quoyi some peoples mistaken one for the other
Quoyi being the smallest
Despite of some report that it can be 15 long its only 8" in captivity. This fish are very rare in the hobby so there is not a lot of literature about them.

If I didn't already have one, I'd buy it. Mine is in a mixed reef and has never eaten coral. Very reef safe and grazes on algae all day. Nice colorful fish with character. GLWS.
