Can anyone recommend a good fish store that has a decent selection of exotic (medium/larger) fish, inlcuding predator fish (shark/rays/eels/etc) in the southern cal area? I've been in search, but only get spotty results for the silver bullet store, i'm sure it exists! =)

Taofang,

Like you I like the predator fish as well... I like all those you named in your list. Our store has a medium size shark if you are interested... I almost bought a blue spotted stingrays, but the wholesalers dropped it when one of the workers tried to box it up so I had to leave it behind, because it was the last one. I am sure they will have more available in the near future.

If you are interested, you can pm me what you want, and I will try and get them for you.

the crappy ATA fish store in cerritos had 2 large sharks stuffed into a tank so small they couldn't even turn around. but that was a few months ago and word is that they are closing down.

Thanks guys! Any other suggestions, besides the one in Ontario, i've been to the other ones.

*I hate ATA though, they treat their fish like crap, they had 2 four or five foot nurse sharks stuffed into the sump of a tank with a sign on the sump saying "Feed the sharks for $2" or something like that...so sad =C

Seaside Tropical had a nice selection of predatory fish. Their only redeeming factor in my opinion.
