So, here in LB the past few days have been pretty warm, right now it's 96 in the shade at my house. Two days ago I noticed my Target clip on fan wasn't cutting it for keeping my tank cool enough. I had the fan pointing straight down on my 20g sump. Yesterday I moved the fan up so it was blowing across the top of my 66g display, and it's working WAY better.

I think I may pickup some seaside 4 fan setups for the garage. No chillers needed yet.

I just keep the house at 80 when I'm not home and 74 when I am. It was 109 yesterday and my tank is fine. I've never had to use a fan or chiller

all good advise , the key is know your home temps times of day rooms that get direct sun all key factors when setting up and maintaining a home aquarium. always keep this in mind when dealing with chillers , make sure the room the chiller is in has good ventilation as the chiller turns on to cool the tank it will warm the room . don't keep chillers under your tank in the stand where your filtration and pumps are located, unless you exhaust the heat with a duct fan.

Luckily one of my vents is near my tank so i just pointed the fins so it blows down onto my tank. Keeps my tank nice and cool. But i have noticed that since my ac is running almost non stop that my evap rate has increased alot. My ATO reservoir needs filled almost everyday this last week.

I actually spent a half hour yesterday making sure my setup wasn't leaking somewhere cause of the evap rate.
