Feeding sea hares

I got a sea hare and according to the lfs it is easy to keep but the internet says otherwise! Haha it seems like every time I try to buy something without doing prior research it seems to be very hard to keep. Anyways anything I can be feeding him other than the algae in my tank? Lettuce? Sea weed? Rocks covered in hair algae from my pond? Any help is appreciated.

They love hair algae... but you can try nori or something. There not that hard to keep as long as they are finding stuff to eat. They will eat hair algae off a rock pretty fast.
