Hi John
it depends on many factors: tank size, pump gph, current water quality, overfeeding, etc.
If your water is really dirty, it may fill up relatively quick, but after regular use, you may have to rotate it less often, as clear water develops.

you should be rotating them at least once a week to keep nitrate down anyways.

to give you a more concrete example, i use the smaller one on my 30g and it takes about a week for it to fill completely. i rotate them once/week as suggested anyways, so it is perfect.

hello again, i have a 250gal total, with a big pump. it's about 3500gph. the water is clean and i run a skimmer. what do you think? i also have my refu. going into the sock.
