Hello Everyone,

My name is Bryan. Been in the hobby for 4 years now and lurking in this site for 8 months. Meet some people here from trading to buying corals. I'm more on SPS but have some zoe and LPS as well. Here is my tank shot. Shes 65 gl. with 20 gl sump.

Shes apex controlled with WaveLine DC return pump, Biopellets and Aquamax skimmer. Using Kemoer for my Alk, Cal, Mag dosing.

Here are some corals picture taken today. This is the best i can do so far as i am learning how to use my sony NEX5 camera.

15% of my SPS collection came from Mike Solitude127, 20-30% from rayray also from garrett collection. Majority of my collection have names but Im not after for the name. Any eye candy corals that will droll me always end up in my tank.

I keep all of the SPS At 5-6 inch range. I trim them all the time for trade. Its hard to control the Alk, cal and mag when they become big colony. So, in order for me to keep the same percentage of dosing i always keep them that size.

Beautiful system!! I also like your idea about the display macro in the fuge..been kicking that idea around a lot. Glad to see a tank thriving so well with it :) do you feel like it's the same nutrient export as Chaeto ( I run a par 38 24/7 on fuge) , and am curious about pod population too .. Did you see a decline at all going away from Chaeto?

Yes I did see decline on pod. But using this algae save me a lot of time cleaning the small pcs of chaeto floating around and sometime getting stock on my return pump screen. I love the beauty of this framing algae. If only DT flow is not high it will end up being there.

That is a lot of biopellets, how long did it take you to have so much?
