Thought I'd share here too...

Always wanted a shallow tank and finally after a bad crash, Its time to rebuild my reef from scratch. I ordered my steel stand today so it should be ready this weekend;)

Dimensions:

Advanced Acrylics
60'X 32'X 14' tall

3/4 thickness








Airbrushed black back:






Flow:

2x mp40w

Tunze wavebox

Undecided on return pump.






3X bags of Caribsea aragonite sand( might get 2 more bags if 3 isn't enough).

So this is what the island will be made of(everything used will also be reef safe product incase the island for some reason falls in the water).

*Mini pond liner(OSH)
*Sand(Caribsea)
*Reef glue(Boston aqua farms)
*Hut and trees(Michaels art and craft)
*Live rock
*PVC
*My strong arms and hands(lol)





Glued the edges of the pond liner to hide the black edges...




Added live rock to save sand...




Almost done...






Will add more trees later:) Enjoy!

3 convict tangs, 1 clown tang, 1 powder blue tang, 1 yellow tang, 1 lyretail anthias(soon to be given away), 7 pink skunk clowns, and 2 chromis.

Crabs:
2 ghetto socal crabs
5 hermits

snails:
10 Nass
10 marguerita
5 orange shell( forgot the names)

coral:
zoas galore for around the island
dendro
clam
orange plate

Added this cleaner goby for my tangs and added a blue tang that I got from a local friend...

Had to use my sons room divider thingy to keep ceiling crumbs from falling in my tank(installing lights)...




Covered the light hanging cords with leaves to hide it. The hanging wires were not cute. Still trying to figure out how to hide the light power cords...

For the people that can view the pics, what browser are you using?

I have tried all of the different forums that he has this post in, and I cant find one picture.

I can't doing anything but view text on RC. In fact. This is what I see on every page on RC.
