I was making so micro cuts using the bandsaw, long story short about an hour into it I wasn't thinking straight and cut my right index finger. I would show ya the result but it was bleed excessively and i was getting light headed from watching it gush blood. Anyways, pictures below is my finger afterwards with generous amount of CoraFFix glue!

So initially, I rinsed with tapwater, then with hydrogen peroxide, then lots of RO/DI, followed by dumping glue on top!! The cut is at least 3/4 inch and very deep!!

I'm not going to the hospital, no health insurance. Working as a first responder, hospital is ideal, but its not life threatening so I'm over that.

I need advice how long i should keep the GLUE on? I'm thinking at least a WEEK.

suggestions?? any MDs or RNs out there!?

the cut is clean across my finger!

I dunno about the glue man. But make sure it's always clean so you won't infect it. And if it bleeds again just raise your finger above your head so it won't bleed much.

How bad is the saw? I mean is there rust? If it does you should get a tetanus shot. But if not then you'll be fine.

hey , I'm an md. come see me at my offiice. I won't charge ya. , put a pressure dressing on if its still bleeding. when was your last tetnus? depending on depth, the glue might work but if you wait to long and it needs sutures then it won't heal right. super glue works if the edges are clean. come in I'm here till 530 or first thing in am 9. call my office 323-264-2890, text me some photos with of the bottom of your finger..

u know that stuff doesn't look like superglue. id wash as much of that stuff off. and get the superglue but if its holding then leave it. just if it starts to swell then let me know ....and of course you're gonna need a dtap booster. people survive cuts but infections can get nasty so just watch it.

Contact MedicBMC, I think he works for AMR.....ouch! Goodluck with that.
Call 911! lol

Good super glue job! Don't go to the hospital because there isn't anything they can do now with it all glued up. I'd say just wait till the superglue falls off....you should be fine. Just watch for swelling and redness.
