I've bout had it with my bicolor pseudochromis...
It's going to be a war to get this guy out.
:viking:
I named him Curious George for his intellegence and
demeanor and now he's starting to kill. I've already lost
a green chromis and a cleaner shrimp to him. My bro
gave him to me and now I want him out. He's fast,
smart manuvers well in strong current and watches
my every move.
Anybody know how to build a good fish trap?

The old standard, 2 litre bottle trap. I've caught chromis and a blue flasher wrasse with one of these.

Agreed, the inverted bottle top trap has worked well for me many times. I've also done one hinged without inverting the top using fishing line to close the trap after the fish entered. Even my tough to catch target mandarin was caught by it using live brine. :top:

After numerous fish traps, fishing poles, hooks, lots patience, and fustration... today was the day to catch the mo fo directly. He was getting smarter every freaking day!

I started to breakdown the tank piece by piece until I found the beast and netted him out. I lost a few sps colonies, but at least I can get new fish.

Moral of the story, don't accept free fish from your brother, don't put anything into your tank without researching, and lastly quarantine if possible.
