Hey guys,

I am looking to add some more fish to what I already have stocked. First off, My tank is a softy,LPS and 2 sps corals tank. Currently I have 2 Ocellaris clowns, 1 banggai cardinal, 1 orange firefish, 1 mandarin goby and 1 blue/green chromis.

I am looking to add some red, yellow and blue colored active fish. Anyone recommendations what to add? I dont want to overstock so small fish please:D I was looking at White Banded Possum wrasse and Carpenters/Flasher wrasse. Are they pod eaters aswell? I just want my mandarin dragonette to be the only pod eating fish in my tank and no other competitor.

You could try more chromis [these guys have tendencies to kill each other off slowly{try odd numbers and relatively same size with 1 big one and feed more often... some people have success with them, some don't}] or a damsel for blue. For red, you could try a Flame dwarf angel, flame/longnose hawkfish [no shrimp for these guys], or a fairy/flasher wrasse. [For flasher wrasse, I like the Mccosker] No they are not pod eaters to my knowledge... [six line wrasse eats pods] For yellow, you could do a midas blenny, yellow watchman goby, clown goby, royal gramma, gold assessor basslet, dottybacks, etc. I'd use www.liveaquaria.com to help look for fish, but these are some fish that you could put in (not all ofc)

If you like active fishes, try a wrasse, these guys are very active [I believe some, if not all, wrasses require sand beds]. Lots to choose from, but be wary... some are reef safe, others will rip apart your tank. You also need a lid of some sort to keep them in. If there's a hole, expect some carpet surfing.

I have a 50 gallon cube- 1snowflake 1 black clown, 1 six line wrasse, 3 green chromis, 1 mandarin, 1 sleeper banded goby and 1 small yellow tang. All fish are healthy and happy. I'll end up selling the yellow tang soon if he gets much bigger before my tank upgrade. I'm also trying to catch the sleeper goby because he makes a mess by picking up sand, and then swimming up to the top of the tank dropping sand all over my corals. If I get him I'll be dropping in a diamond goby and a flame hawk.

In a 75 cube I have a Purple Tang, Helfrichi Fire fish, smiths blenny, and a yellow coris wrasse. Love their activity and their always out swimming around. Also because my aquascape has tons of little crevices and nooks and crannies, I have a tiger goby and I'm getting a few more tiny fish to hop around my rocks, you don't see them often but when you do it's bad ***. Trying to find a few Catalina gobies and a hybrid cleaner goby.

All fish will jump, not just wrasses. Not all wrasses sleep in the sand, some form mucus cocoons ie Fairy Wrasses. The wrasses you chose are nice additions, you should just put a screen top on your tank. I wouldn't recommend you adding a damsel to that size of a tank. They are aggressive. Or a Flame Angel as it might pick at your corals.

Yes definetely no damsels and angelfish in my tank. Peaceful/semi peaceful fish are my preffered choice.

I was looking to add a royal grama too but ive heard after a while they get pretty aggressive. So im not sure if I want to risk that. I dont want to give the gramma a home then have to kick it out if he gets aggressive. Cant blame the fish.

I can also vouch for RGs. They mind their own business, but will defend its cave... That's about aggressive as they go. I've had a couple before and never harmed any fish.
