I hadn't been there in a couple years and I went back and I really liked the makeover

I stopped by today and picked up a couple frags. Last time I was there (2 years ago) I was a bit disappointed but not this time. He doesn't have that many sps frags but im sure the selection will grow as time goes by if he keeps it up.

I talked to Peter and he seemed like a cool guy. He gave me a discount without even asking for one also. I also told him about this site, maybe we will see him sponsoring SCR soon.

What are you basing this on? If you went there several times, and saw them ripping people off, why the f would you shop there? And if you have only been there once and you were ripped off, how can you say that they tend to rip off customers. Just sayin...

I was posting for newbies that go to stores a lot of stores do not give receipts n if your not sure they'll take advantage of them. N I can say that because it has happened more then once at more then one store. I don't spend $25-50 at stores I only go to stores if I need to buy a lot of items do you ever ask for a receipt

I pass that guy charged me a extra $100 dollars I had purchased over $500 worth of live n dry goods, I will nvr go back nor would I tell anyone to go there. I even told Kyle about it because I stopped at his house after to get some corals. So hell NO to fish world

I have no reason to lie about someone's way of life that's **** blew my mind like **** I even waited because u know people make mistakes thought he would catch himself nope

It is really hard to make a $100 mistake being that it was added at the end of all my other purchases n his taxes are separate he just said he missed it lol it's kind of hard to miss adding a extra $100

It has been awhile David and It was nice seeing u again. Too bad I'm not in to LE corals anymore. Too much hype on LE Corals and people trying to retire on one coral

CK Fish World is the best in SGV hands down. Tanks are super clean and pretty good variety. I used to go there just for my planted tanks, which are sooooooo much easier to take care of. When I got my salt tank I went to all the stores in SGV and this one is the best. Others I went to were either shady guys trying to rip off a noob, tanks full of algae, tiny selection, overpriced , or not helpful. This is my main store.

Ive gotten nothin but good deals an customer service with peter and the other guys at FW fwiw, and ill continue to pop in every chance i get to see what frags are there. Only store thats made me want to get into freshwater lol...

First time to fish world I notice few thing.

Tank clean
Some Saltwater fish is Over price....
Cheap Frag, but watch out (Bubble Algae in their cheap tank.) I bought a Acan from them, and notice it got bubble algae on the pug.

Other than that, nice store.

this is one of the best stores local to me that i dont have to drive to the OC for. the owner hooks it up and gives good advice. definitely a lfs worth visiting. :thumb:

Passed by this store, good deals on fish and corals. Picked up a nice powder blue tang. Also had some good prices on zoa frags/colonies.

I have been going here for years. they have recently done some great remodels. All the staff are helpful and always answer questions. Peter is a cool cat and I cant see him doing that on purpose...

I just went there today, I feel bad for the coral... Need to go on day they get the shipment in... if not, they'll be dead in a week. Their main display on the right is looking no bueno. As far as fish, they seem ok.

That one that was pretty nice in Upland closed. Total fish and Pet in Monterey Park closed. Fish USA in Glendora closed (where I used to get my fish). Some other stores remain open despite how crappy they are. lol
