Can someone hook me up with a foot vLve link? Everything I see online does say for reef but I see a metal looking screw. The one I have that I just screwed up has no metal on it or screws. Maybe it's titanium but id rather go no screws at all. ThNks.

But this is exactly what he was saying, the float valve has the metal looking alike piece.
BUT!!!!!! If you look at the non adjustable one on the top there is NO metal looking alike piece thingy magingy. lol

Hmmm. Never knew they had those. I assume you splice that with a pump? I should've went that route. I just ordered 3 of those ghetto ball float valves that hook directly to your rodi feed.
No those float switch can't handle high voltage. You run those to a breakout box for Apex or other controller just to get the signal and turn on an outlet. I'm not sure what you are trying to use a float valve for but sounds like straight from the RODI to your sump??? Not a good idea for top off. I use the RODI to fill up a brute trash can and shut off when it's full. And the float switch I use a few to get water level signals to my Apex.

Using this for over 5 year for RODI and no rust

So I see there's a metal twist tightened. And it's wet. Does it not get rusty? I am using it in my sump. And I've heard of fail stories where doubles floats failed. But I've been losing a ton of water from fan and I walk out to a bubble tornado every 2 days. I've been just turning the rodi on and turning it off manually every hour.

No rust but keep in mind that it's RODI water not saltwater. I use 3 float switches hook up to Apex and my ATO container is size to where if all switch falls it will not overflow my sump and keep my salinity level closer to my target. You can also program t
he ATO pump not to stay on with APEX
