A quick question. For a 220g running a bean animal should I use 1.5" or 2" for the main flow to sump?
Thanks guys.

What return pump are you using. I have a fluval sp6 on each of my tanks with 1.5" herbie and there's plenty of room left for more flow.

I think you're fine with 1.5". I'll take a pic of my ball valve handle later.

I have a 1 1/2 only 60 gallon. If you have the choice and the room I would go with the larger one

Going 2" would save me getting a 1.5" drill bit. Now on returns. The sicce has 1.5 return. Which I was going to split up to left and right. Should I reduce them to 3/4 to accommodate loclines or just leave them at 1.5" and use 45 elbows to direct flow?
