How hard is it to keep Flower Nems? I'm considering them for my 30g nano.

I have found them to be hit and miss. I have one I've had for 2 years, but I've added two more ultras and they both didn't make it.

Also, make sure not to have peppermint shrimp with them as I lost 4 others I brought back from FL last year from them going to town on them. One of the quickest $400 I've ever spent.

ouch.... No, no peppermints in the nano. I'm just looking for more color. Do any shrimps hosts flower nems? What kind of flow do they need.

I have mine in a barnacle shell. It hasn't moved from it in 2 years. Master Ali gave me the tip... he puts his in Turbo snail shells. That way you can move them where ever you want.

Its at the bottom of my tank, low flow not to say they couldn't withstand a little more.

I found it actually easier then regular rbtas.. Just a bit more aggressive then your normal nems.. I got mines from organism and he had put them on a PVC pipe and ever since I got that from him which was mid summer of 2015 it hadn't moved from the PVC making it easier to place it anywhere on my sand bed

Yep mine stayed in the pvc pipe. 1 moved but I place it too close to the rock to where it could touch. It didn't climb very high though. With my tank being higher light it seemed to stay low, almost indirect light.

I dunno, it's not a normal thing but in my tank amphipods were eating the tentacle tips on the smaller nems which made them get infections and slowly die off, I watched them do it quite a few times. I talked to a bunch of people about it who said it couldn't be the pods but the nems stopped dying once I nuked them, not sure what the deal was but pretty sure it's an issue that for some reason or another was unique to my tank.

Did I read somewhere that some pods will eat on Zoas also... Or is this an isolated situation within his system???

Yeah they can eat those too but it's also really rare, I think there's a lot about keeping a reef track that we're never really going to understand.
