I was very skeptical about doing this project but am actually really happy with the way the wall turned out rite now its soaking with fresh water to make sure it is securely attached to the back wall of the tank.

I need to figure out the stand and how to mount the light but it should be up and running soon enough.

My edge is a holding tank at the moment.

I picked up some frags and some rescues from a friend and the chalice is a coral i picked up from Petco that came in as a pagoda.

So I ordered 15 pounds of this rock today from liverocknreef and am hoping to get some awesome shapes and rock to work with for the foundation of the reef.

Also pic is of the tank after it cleared up after the install of sand

Looks good! I did one for my 65g. I have corals mounted a few inches from the top of the wall, which is about 22.5" tall.

Addit: did you epoxy/sand over the rock too instead of just around them?

I epoxied sand partially on to the rock to try to make it look more seemless then just around them like veins I hope coraline algae grow on it.

It will! :)

Here's what mine looked like right after the tank was filled and before I moved the rock over from my old tank. Now it's all kind of blended together and coralline is starting to grow on it, especially red.

That was the main reason I chose to do it if I keep my fluval edge up and running I will do the same to it as well if this one works out
That sounds pretty awesome, I'd love to follow that. I have a 10 gallon myself and I'm seriously considering trying to do this with it. I'm not sure how messy it'll get with an existing system, but for the added space, it could be worth it!

You'd have to pick up a cheap aquarium and put all your live Stock in it as a different system for sure until you finished your project. You could complete everything in a a few days if you had the foam, egg crate, salt, epoxy resin, and aragonite or crushed live rock.

The hardest thing for me was picking the rite epoxy
