Hey guys, Just curious where everyone is getting their fragging equipment from. I recently acquired a few 3d printers and have been printing plugs for our shop. Considering selling some packs but just wanted some input on what you guys already pay per plug and size!

I get my plugs from sea side as well but they are pretty easy to print for me. Would you guys consider trying a few of mine and seeing if it’s something you would consider buying for your frags?

I have the seaside ones left over as backup. But I prefer the stuff from Xue vang. Reefway.org

His frag cement material is just porous enough to be easy to glue, clean and frag (even with pliers).

3D printed frag plugs are ok, but when you need to cut them, not as easy as a moderate stiff cement.

I’ve found also the 3D filament doesn’t let some corals cover as naturally (like zoas). Maybe cause it’s not porous?

3D printing makes for really great racks, stands, frag trees, shroom and nem boxes and artwork for encrusting corals.
