FREE Chaeto!

I have too much chaeto, my tumbling Chaeto is no longer tumbling.. Who wants a sandwich bag - or two - of really nice, dark green, healthy chaeto.

Pick up in irvine tonight.

Curious do you use a skimmer or is it a smaller skimmer? My chaeto grows but not very quickly.

What kind of light so you have over it?

Mine is after the skimmer and I run a Par38 19.5 Watt Led bulb over it... Grows like crazy

I have a skimmer, it's rated for a little more then my total water volume. My sump is three chambers, I have it set up where the drain and skimmer are in the first section, the chaeto is in the middle, and my return pump and ATO are in the last section. I keep a power head in all 3 to make sure no detritus settles. I use a larger powerhead at an angle to tumble my chaeto. I had a spare 2 bulb 24 inch T5 fixture laying around so I am using that with great success.

I get off work today around 4 if anyone is interested in picking up the chaeto, if not it will be trashed.
