FREE FOWLR fish for good home: PANTHER GROUPER and ARC EYE HAWKFISH

Hi all,

Giving away these 2 big fish, to a good home only. Located in San Gabriel and will be able to meet anywhere around 91770 zip code.

Only condition is that you tell me a little about your tank to ensure it is proper to house these 2 big guys. Probably okay in a reef, but they probably will eat small fish and/or shrimp, so that's why I say FOWLR.

Reason I am giving them away is that they are getting too big for my tank. I have had these fish for 5+ years, they have survived multiple crashes and my neglect, so I don't want to just give them away to a LFS, as I want them housed in a good home. Otherwise, I will just keep them.

First is a PANTHER GROUPER about 12" long.

Second is a Arc Eye Hawkfish about 4-5".

• These 2 guys are NOT mean or aggressive and I have a 2" clownfish I added AFTER them that is in there which they have not eaten or picked on. They just mind their own business and wait for food at corner of tank. But, I would NOT take chances with small reef fish or inverts, just in case.

I'll try to get pics up when lights come on...

Priority goes to those who can house both. I need to catch them first, so once I get a commitment, I'll do so.

FYI: its a freckled hawkfish, not arc eye...I mis-ID'd it.


anyways, MODS please lock.

Will create new thread after thanksgiving break, don't have time to try to catch them right now without doing a water change and running water down to catch them.
