hey y'all i posted on this free market place a few days ago. i have a bunch of macro-algae {calerupa, chaeto, red grape} filled with aphipods and copepods. its time to harvest it as it has over run my refugium. i would hate to throw it away. i understand that the calerupa is invasive if it made it into the ocean. i'm a few miles from the ocean but i guess it could be possible it makes into waterways. so i don't want to throw it away. plus the cute/entertaining pods would die. just can't bring myself to dispose of it.
I want to give the majority of it away. i do not want to drive a million miles to meet someone to give it away either. its for pickup in HESPERIA 92345.
i can meet locally in my area.
i hope to help someone out with seeding a refugium or tank with pods.
PM me if you're interested.
thanks

@ Solus....I go to Ontario frequently, if I get some I can coordinate meeting you and giving you the junk....

Do you think if I put a wad of this in some netting and threw it in my tank it would be beneficial? I am not running a sump. Just a coup[le of powerheaDS AND a good filter. 50 gallon reef/fish with 3 damsles, 2 blenneys, snails and crabs. No shrimp yet, cant afford. (lost my job last week....bad timing while setting up a new tank!)
No protein skimmer. Chemicals are good. I was told I sshould have this stuff in the tank for my biofilter.

Anyhow, do you have any free advice, and if this stuff is good for me, do you have any I can pick up? Also, the guy in San Bernardinao, I can deliver his if he comes to Ontario.

thanks for being so generous! Hugs, Kim
