Free Purple Tang

I need to let go one of my purples. It’s starting to develop signs of HLLE in the face, his face is turning white.
So here’s the deal tho I’m a bit of an asshole on who I give my fish to. I’ve given away many fish over the years. I rarely sell any of my fish because I treat my fish like members of my family and you don’t sell family.
-So I will NOT be giving this away to anyone that is a habitual seller. Don’t ask it’s not happening.
-Also you MUST have a bigger system than mine. By at least 50+ gallons, so you need to have 250 gallons display or more.
-Also pickup only, in perris ca (zip code 92571) search zip it before you ask. I will block/ignore anyone that asks if I’ll deliver. It’s a stupid joke that lazy idiots ask and I don’t f***ing care if you think you’re funny, you’re not that’s why you’re not a comedian.
Free to a good home and a good reefer, all I ask is you take good care of a fish that was part of my family.
I’m available on Fridays and Saturdays and I will need help catching it. So please be prepared to get wet and bring something you can take it home in. Roughly 4-5” in size.

I know how you feel. Have you tried treating it? More nori, selcon etc? Any stray voltage in your tank? Good luck and hope he finds a good home.

I believe it’s from stress from over population. Both my purples are developing it, just the purples tho. I have 12 tangs in a 187g.
I’ve changed foods, water quality is good, stopped running carbon. It’s leads me to believe it’s stress from over population.
So here’s my stock list in my 187
2 purples tangs
2 blue tangs
2 lavender tangs
1 chocolate tang
1 powder blue tang
1 clown tang
1 tomini tang
1 Dussumier Tang

Thanks but it’s my wife sir. So my wife loves the fish. Every time I take her to a pet shop with me she buys more fish. Jimmy laughs at me, he says I have every reefers dream wife. Most wife’s get made at their husbands for buying fish and reef tank equipment and mine wants a 700g tank, I’m the one says we can’t have that‍♂️.
So about eight years ago I gave a purple tang to Matt (LesPaulplayer), do you know how much shit I still get to this day for giving away my wife’s Ariel.
Not to mention my wife’s a bully and she raised my daughters to be bullies (had to steal a Bert Kreischer line). All everyone sees is a soft talking fit women, unless you’re family. She a fouled mouth fit b**** that has a highly trained tongue that knows how to use words to cut a jugular. Plus she lifts weights so she looks pretty damn intimidated

My wife loves purple tangs. Honestly if she knew I was giving one away she would be so mad at me. I’d rather see a fish healthy and happy then please my old rag . When the two purples started to develop HLLE I said “dam the purples are getting HLLE” she asked what is that and why are they getting it. I showed her the loss of pigment and said it’s probably due to stress from to many tangs, because everything else is good. Her response was “see I told you I need a bigger tank!” Honestly tho I really cant go bigger unless I get rid of my berghia propagation system. That’s not happening.

It’s always sad to see our fish deal with something. Now your purole tang has character that’s all. My purple tang I got from my LFS looked liked he went to war just all f***ked up. But I’m like I bet I can save him and ya he looks bad but now he’s got character lol glad to say he’s doing a lot better in my tank and still my favorite fish.

Honestly I use to deliver things all the time as a driver I drive all over socal. Many years ago I had a guy in the high desert message me about an anemone I was selling. We setup a time the day before as I was taking it to work with me. The guy never responded to me the day we were supposed to meet up. It’s not like I could drive home in a Pepsi truck and it was the middle of summer and the heat would have killed the nem if it sat in the truck all day. So I offered the nem up on here to anyone that could pick it up from me in the high desert. Some guy down in Temecula asked if I could drop it off to him. I messaged him back saying I wasn’t able to drive off my route and I was in the high desert. He said he would pick it up later on in the day. At the same time I had a few guys in the high desert message me saying they would take the nem. So I said FCFS and ASAP is best. I gave it to one of the guys that lived up in the high desert. The temecula guy got so pissed I gave it to someone else and got him he posted a thread on here calling me an A-hole. That whole experience just pissed me off to deal with people and I hate dealing with the BS. Yes I have met some great people here and I feel most people are pretty cool. It just I hate and I mean I hate getting asked to deliver stuff. Most of the time I’ll offer to meetup halfway or deliver if the person is in one of the cities I deliver to.

just ignore clowns like that and do ur thing bro charge people for delivery. I would do that I had people bring their fish to my house and i pay them for it…
